"Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you."
Psalm 25:4–5 NLT

Psalm 25:4–5

What it says

A prayer of dependence — not a request for a map, but for the Teacher Himself. Three verbs: show, point out, lead. And the posture under all of them: "all day long I put my hope in you."

For meditation

The path is not handed over once and walked alone. It is walked with the One who teaches as you go. Hope is the all-day posture, not a starting prayer.

Connections

Psalm 27:4 — one thing I ask. John 14:6 — Jesus is the way. Proverbs 3:5–6 — He directs the path of the trusting heart.
